Dear Parents and Carers,

At last I can let you know the result of our inspection! The inspection has classified us as a good school, with areas of outstanding practice around student safety, safeguarding, attendance and care, guidance and support. We were very pleased with the result - under the new framework, achieving good and outstanding judgments is much more challenging than in previous years. In particular, the inspectors praised our strategies for teaching and learning, and ascertained that the students made good progress, and were very focused in lessons; they were impressed with our approaches to supporting all students, including those who are gifted and talented; they recognised that the students make an excellent contribution to the school and to the wider community. The say that the school is one of which we can all be rightly proud - and we are!
