A level Exam results 2016

Sydenham and Forest Hill students (SFH6) achieved another set of fantastic results this year in A Level and BTEC courses.

We are very proud of all of our students’ achievements.

52% of the grades achieved by Sydenham students were A*B and 82% were A*C. These great results have ensured that students have secured excellent university places with many progressing to top Russell Group Universities and 9 to Art College in September.

Wiktoria Piorkowska  (3rd from right) achieved 2A*s and 2 A grades in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and is looking forward to starting a degree in Chemistry at Imperial College. Her classmate, Victor Nunes De Almeida, (2nd from right) who achieved A*, A*, A in Maths, Physics and Biology will also be studying at Imperial College.

Other highlights include Karishma Thakrar who achieved   1 A* and 2 A grades in Sociology, Psychology, and Religious Studies. She has been accepted onto her first choice university to study Psychology.

Students studying Level 3 BTEC courses also did extremely well with many securing the highest Distinction and Distinction* grades. Health and Social Care students this year did particularly well with 100% of grades at Distinction or Distinction*

In total, a record breaking 146 SFH6 students have secured a university place as a result of their hard work and determination, as well as the support of their teachers and families. At SFH6 we value high aspiration, ambition and energy and our Y13 students have certainly demonstrated this.
