OUR REPORTING SYSTEMS
We produce two types of reports
- Progress reports, four times per year
- Annual reports, once a year
The Sydenham Gold Standard
The Sydenham Gold Standard is a way of rewarding students for meeting our school expectations, and encourages them to always “Aim High” and “Achieve Higher”. Students need to achieve Gold in each of four different standards – Attendance, Punctuality, Effort and Achievement Points, in order to achieve the Gold Standard. Students can check their progress towards the Gold Standard using SIMS Learning Gateway (see below), and this is also recorded on Track Reports.

What does the Gold Standard Report tell me?
These reports are published 4 times per year as per the assessment calendar via SIMS Learning Gateway. SIMS Learning Gateway replaces e-Portal as the main way in which we share information about a child’s progress with their parents, and you should by now have received usernames and passwords to access the site.
Please contact the school at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have forgotten your SLG login or password in order to request a new one.
The Gold Standard report consists of:
In Years 9 to 11, the Gold Standard report is made up of two pages. The first is the actual report, the second is a helpful guide to interpreting your daughter’s report. We are currently working on a brand new report format for students in Year 7 and 8, and more details will be available soon.
