Year 11 Refugee Linoprints

Year 11 Art students have been working hard on linoprint designs of refugee portraits from around the world.

A Level Art Trip

The Visual Arts Faculty took their A-Level classes to the Hayward Gallery to see the new painting exhibition Mixing it Up. The visit was a welcome breath of fresh air and we took time to enjoy the Southbank and a walk along the river Thames too.

Year 10/11 Football Team

On Friday 12th November the year 10/11 Football Team played Charter North School in the Inner London Cup. We won 3-1! All students put in an excellent performance. Well done team!

Goldsmiths event for Art students

Do take a look at the Goldsmiths art outreach activities for 16-18yr olds which were originally scheduled for this summer will now be an online 4-day event, running from Thursday 5th - Sunday 9th November.

FineArtWeek 2020 is designed for A-level/BTec pupils studying art who want to find out more about Art at Goldsmiths and will be a mix of

  • workshops on developing ideas, researching for your practice and practical tips on such things as adapting to makingartin domestic space
  • talks and Q and As with alumni and current 3rd years on their practices and their journeys through education
  • a gallery session with the CCA
  • advice on choosing courses and putting together portfolios and writing personal statements.
